Welcome to Project Linus of Charles County, MD

Our Mission

First, to provide love, a sense of security, warmth, and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “Blanketeers.”

Second, to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.

Knit & Crochet Along

Looking for a new pattern to try out!?! Project Linus HQ is hosting its annual Knit & Crochet Along. It's a nice fundraiser for our Charles County, MD, Chapter and provides you with a new pattern to try out.

Go to https://www.projectlinus.org/knitcrochet to register and for additional details. During the registration period each pattern (knit or crochet) is $20 + 3.093% credit card processing fee. As this event offers a fundraising opportunity for our local Chapter, please designate our Charles County, MD, Chapter for your donation / registration. Additional note: Registration closes at 12:01am CT on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
